Fireclay Tile has been designing and manufacturing fine handmade tiles for 22 years at their location in San Jose, California. They use "Old World" methods and hand mixed glazes to create original works of art as individual as you are.

Glazes, some of which are mixed from a variety of pre-manufactured nonleaded fritz, others are raw glazes manufactured from oxides and other raw earth materials. Fireclay Tile glazes are produced without the use of lead. All glaze over spray and waste is collected and recycled into the clays they mix.

Today, Fireclay Tile offers several hundred decorative moldings, and architectural trims, in over 250 glaze colors. Floor tiles are also available.

Sandhill's glass-fusing technology marks a new level in contemporary tile evolution. Not only are Sandhill products made from 100% recycled glass, which is otherwise destined for landfills Each tile takes less than one-half of the energy to produce than ceramic tile, and less than one-fourth of the energy to produce a cast-glass tile. Sandhill tiles are available in 36 colors from light to dark, subtle to bright.
