Eco-Top: http://www.kliptech.com/ecotop.html
EcoTop is an innovative new surface product that promotes sustainability without compromising quality or style. EcoTop is a 50/50 fiber blend-- 50% of the fiber is 100% post-consumer recycled paper and the other 50% is shredded bamboo fibers-- compressed with a clear, water-based hybrid resin. This clear, hybrid resin technology creates very UV-stable colors that will not change with prolonged sun exposure. EcoTop uses a pigmented pulp process rather than applying a pigmented, phenol-based resin to white paper, to create a consistent, stable color along the surface and throughout the product thickness. This countertop is VOC-free and can contribute to seven different credits within the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED building standards.
